Weathertex is the preferred cladding manufacturer by many builders, architects and designers all over the world, with history dating back to 1939. 100% Australian owned and manufactured, we offer a wide range of high quality timber cladding weatherboards such as Selflok and Primelok as well as our architectural panels Weathergroove ranges. We only use PEFC certified state forest or private hardwoods from controlled sources. The logs are chipped, pulped and pressed into shape, with 3% wax added for water resistance, to make quality timber products that are completely natural with no chemical additives.
In 2017, we went through a rigorous evaluation from Global GreenTag to determine the “green performance” of our products and we are proud to announce we have been the FIRST GLOBAL manufactured product to receive a Green Tag Platinum certification with a GreenRate Level A for our natural range products. We also received Gold certification for our primed flat cladding (Selflok) and wall panels (Weathergroove) sheets.
